I got the privilege today of visiting the wondrous Rubin Museum of Art in New York at 17th street and 7th avenue.
It’s the only Museum in the world dedicated to himalayan art, and founded two and a half years ago by Donald and Shelley Rubin. You must visit it when you come to New York.
Last weekend at the San Mateo Fairgrounds in California was the 2nd Annual Maker Faire, it was an incredible array of art, robots, craft and geekery. I loved it and have CameraGirl to thank for the tip off! Pogo came along on Sunday and I recorded quite a lot of it on DV, so today I’ve edited my favorite part of the faire for your viewing pleasure, you should find my video of the Tesla coil demmonstration which doesn’t do the coil justice as the ffeling when you’re standing next to one of these is INCREDIBLE.
